Virtuozzo PaaS pricing adjustmen
We have successfully avoided a general price increase on all services, even though the past years of high inflation. We are investing in new more efficient technology to compensate for the increased operational costs. This is the first time we will increase the price on our first generation compute and volume storage. We have come to a point where we need to do a price adjustment to be able to continue the platform development in a sustainable way. The cost for our second generation (v2) compute and volume storage will stay the same.
The new pricing will apply from 2026-01-01.
We will adjust the pricing on the following services.

2025-06-16 Deprecation of Virtuozzo PaaS
For many years Virtuozzo PaaS, previously branded as Jelastic, has been at the core of Elastx cloud services. However, to align with our mission to provide excellent services focusing on business critical data and applications we are confident that our next generation Elastx Cloud Platform is on track to fulfil all requirements for phasing this product out.
Customers leveraging current PaaS will receive further announcements and potentially be contacted individually in advance of any subsequent migration activities.
We will continue to fully support Virtuozzo PaaS until the end of life date and we will offer migration paths to other services.
Virtuozzo PaaS end of life date on Elastx will be 2026-12-31.

2022-10-06 Jelastic PaaS will be renamed Virtuozzo PaaS
Virtuozzo announced its acquisition of Jelastic on 2021-10-05.
Later, Jelastic PaaS became Virtuozzo Application Platform.
Now it is time for Elastx to rebrand Jelastic PaaS as Virtuozzo PaaS.
With the platform upgrade 2022-09-21, the Jelastic PaaS was rebranded to Virtuozzo PaaS.
During October we will rebrand other places as well.
